Landmark Intelligent Production Centers
1. World's First Automatic Box Girder Web Skeleton Welding Production Line (2025)
Developed and manufactured by GUTE Machinery for a project led by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau (CSCEC 3rd Bureau) on the Wuhan Metropolitan Area Ring Expressway (Huangpi–Xinzhou Section), the first-generation fully automatic box girder bottom web skeleton welding production line has completed commissioning and entered formal production.
- Full-process automation: longitudinal rebar feeding, intelligent placement, high-precision welding and finished-product discharge;
- 100% product standardization with consistent dimensional accuracy and structural form;
- The world's first line compatible with both standard box girder skeletons and complex variable cross-sections;
- Laser-scanning vision tracking for high-precision, fully automatic welding of longitudinal and stirrup bars;
- Flexible welding modes (full weld, staggered weld, spot weld) with customizable welding points;
- Only 2 operators required, with full digital supervision and data traceability.
- A second-generation line is already under development.
2. Unmanned Beam Factory (UBF) with CSCEC 8th Bureau (2022)
After two years of joint research and development, GUTE and China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau (CSCEC 8th Bureau) launched the "Unmanned Beam Factory (UBF)" initiative at the Henan Yanhuang Expressway project on July 20, 2022, with the project officially put into production on November 4, 2022 - a milestone in the digital, intelligent and industrialized transformation of bridge construction.
3. Zhangjinggao Yangtze River Bridge Rebar Intelligent Production Center (2023)
Built together with CCCC Second Harbor Engineering, the production center serves the Zhangjinggao Yangtze River Bridge, which holds six world records including the world's longest-span suspension bridge. The 7,500 m2 center processes approximately 45,000 tons of rebar for pile cages, diaphragm walls and pylon structures across two bays, and is connected to the owner's information management system for production task dispatch, data collection and status monitoring.
4. Shanghai–Kunming Expressway Intelligent Integrated Precast Beam Plant (2024)
Developed with Jiangxi Provincial Communications Engineering Group for a 28.34 km section with 2,808 precast beams, the plant follows a "two plants, three zones and one center" layout. It deploys three-machine and two-machine linked production lines, fully automatic stirrup benders, sawing & threading lines, a two-in-one stirrup welding line and AGV logistics.

5. Guian Expressway Intelligent Centralized Distribution Center (2024)
In partnership with China Railway No. 5 Engineering Group on the 94.1 km Guiyang–Anshun Expressway, the two-bay center houses a four-line sawing & threading production line (operated by just 1 person) and China's first fully automatic rebar cage welding station (1–2 operators), together with linked shearing–bending lines, an automatic stirrup bender and cap-beam skeleton auto-welding robots. All equipment carries digital ports for seamless information integration.
6. Yilong Sanqiao Smart Beam Plant
Supporting Sichuan Road & Bridge, GUTE built an integrated assembly-line rebar processing solution for bridge pier and pile rebar cages, combining big data, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things to achieve fully automated material transport, semi-finished processing and finished assembly.
Core Technology Highlights
STW32 Railway Box Girder U-Bar Production Line
One operator completes the entire production process. Each shift can stably produce 3 railway large box girder U-bars, delivering 3–5 times the efficiency of traditional lines. The line integrates fixed-length cutting, automatic feeding, bending and stacking, with quick-change forming wheels for one-shot large-arc forming.
Fully Automatic Rebar Cage Welding Station
Equipped with 8 coordinated welding robots, the station handles automatic main-bar feeding, distribution, high-precision detection, positioning and welding - no welder required. Where traditional production needed 3–4 skilled welders, one operator now runs the whole process. It records the exact length of every main bar to enable data-driven smart-site management, and flexibly supports single/double main bars and single/double spiral bars.
SJT40 CNC Sawing & Threading Production Line
Combining automatic sawing, upsetting, threading and end grinding in one machine, the SJT40 features double-vise clamping, infinitely adjustable hydraulic feed, automatic bar positioning and threading, and protective sensors. It achieves a length accuracy of ±5 mm and requires just 1–2 operators.
